  • What areas do you currently serve?
    We currently serve Baltimore City and surrounding areas. If you are not sure if we serve your area, give us a call at 443-248-1238.
  • Do I need a referral or prescription?
    Based on the APTA website (American Physical Therapy Association) all 50 states have a form of direct access. This means that in the state of Maryland you are able to go directly to a licensed physical therapist without a physician referral. While Maryland does allow direct access, some insurers may requirer additional requirements.
  • What should I expect from my first visit?
    On your first visit, the physical therapist will perform an initial evaluation looking at both your past and present medical history. The therapist will then assess your posture, strength, movement, functional abilities as well as other areas as appropraite to determine the root cause of your issue. The therapist will then establish a plan of care that may consist of hands on treatment, an exercise prescription, and home exercise program.
  • What should I wear?
    For physical therapy patients, it is important for us to have access to visibly examine, treat, and palpate different parts of your body, muscles, and tissues. Please wear a pair of loose comfortable fiiting athletic short s or pants. Also, please have access to a sleeveless shirt or tank top.
  • What is your cost and availability?
    Appointment times vary depending on the schedule of both the patient and therapist. Appointment availability and cost will be reviewed during your initial consult with the physical therapist.
